ANW Auto Care ("we," "us," or "our") is an owner-operated auto repair shop in Calabash, North Carolina. We keep our website simple, and we keep the information we collect to the minimum needed to answer your service requests. This page describes how that works.

Information We Collect

The main way we collect information is through the Request Service form. When you choose to submit it, you may provide:

• Your name
• Your phone number and email address, and your preferred way to be contacted
• Vehicle information such as year, make, model, mileage, and — only if you choose to enter it — the VIN
• A description of what's going on with your vehicle and the details you include in your message

We do not collect payment-card information anywhere on this website. The form does not ask for card numbers, bank details, or similar sensitive payment data, and you should not include those in your message.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide to respond to your service request — to understand your vehicle and concern, to contact you the way you asked us to, and to arrange a time to look at the vehicle in person. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Because we are a small, owner-run shop, your request is reviewed directly by Andy Wheeler, the owner and technician.

Spam Protection on the Form

To keep the Request Service form from being flooded by automated spam, we use Cloudflare Turnstile, a privacy-focused challenge that helps confirm a real person is submitting the form. Turnstile may set a token in your browser to complete that check. It is used to protect the form, not to track you across the web.

Analytics

We may use privacy-focused website analytics (such as Cloudflare Web Analytics) to understand general, aggregated traffic — for example, which pages are viewed and roughly how many visits the site gets. This type of analytics is designed to work without cookies and without building an advertising profile of you.

Email Delivery

When you submit a service request, we use a third-party email provider (Resend) to deliver the resulting notification email to the shop. That provider processes the contents of the message so it can be delivered. It is used only to handle transactional email tied to your request.

Cookies

Core browsing of this site uses minimal cookies or none at all. As noted above, Cloudflare Turnstile may set a token in your browser when you use the Request Service form. If we use privacy-focused analytics, it is chosen specifically to avoid the kind of tracking cookies used for advertising.

Data Retention

We keep the information from your service request only as long as we reasonably need it to serve you — to respond, complete any work, and keep basic records of that service. If you'd like us to delete the information you sent through the form, contact us using the details below and we will honor reasonable requests.

Third Parties

A few trusted services help this website run. The main ones are:

• Cloudflare — website hosting and delivery, spam protection (Turnstile), and privacy-focused analytics
• Our email provider (Resend) — delivering the notification email from your service request
• Google Maps — the embedded map on our Contact page, which loads from Google when you view that page

These providers handle information only as needed to perform their function. Their own privacy practices are governed by their respective policies.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information you send us. That said, no method of transmitting information over the internet or storing it electronically is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please don't send sensitive details you don't need to share.

Your Choices

Using the Request Service form is always your choice — you can also simply call the shop instead. You can ask us what information we have from a request, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. To do any of these, reach out using the contact details below.
